G.A.M. LIVE Sound LEGACY

G.A.M. Live Sound has been serving in Nor Cal since 2019, becoming a go to for live sound reinforcement for many event coordinators, bands and venues most notably in Humboldt County. The GAM Systems distinctive sound derives from a few key factors:

  1. Vintage and new components are carefully chosen, through research and an experience-based analysis.

  2. Elaborate signal path routing/planning for optimal live results

  3. Using Mackie 16‑channel mixers paired with 2 channel 31‑band EQs, 2 channel compressor/gates on 2 FX sends; FX send 1 (for kick/toms) also has 5‑band EQ, FX send 2 uses an Alesis Quadraverb for vocal effects.

  4. Running an analog crossover from the mixer into Class AB amplifiers and passive speakers.

  5. Keeping systems calibrated with GS‑Link. GS‑Link is a settings matrix that lets many GAM Systems builds run in a READ‑ONLY like mode on deployment. This method preserves battle‑tested settings honed over years of use, saving soundcheck time and ensuring sustained optimal sonic performance wherever deployed.
