Introduced in 2024, The Shadow is a more advanced build prototype that was assembled to match the output yield of the G-system and other Sentinel builds and to meet the load in demands at frequent shows. It’s light weight and self powered design swiftly proved useful as it takes the stages in Humboldt county and beyond, all while fitting in the back of an SUV.
In summer 2026, the Mackie 1604 was replaced with a Mackie Onyx 1640, and a more compact rack was added to store the stage snake, processors, and amplifiers, further providing sonic flexibility and convenience.
The Shadow 2.0:
2X Mackie 15'“ Powered top mains , 1400 Peak Watts @ 8 ohms each
1X 18” Powered Sub, 300 Watts @ 8 ohms
3X 12” stage monitors (2x passive, 1x powered) 200 Watts @ 8 ohms each
100’ 16 channel stage XLR snake, Mackie Onyx1640 16 Channel Mixer
Vocal and instrument mics, speaker/mic stands, DIs, and cabling included
Accommodate DI inputs from Synths, Pedals, Drum Modules, Samplers and more
External FX processing for Drums and vocals via Vintage Digital effects components
Centrally powered via GS-Link (a components settings matrix that gives every featured GAM Systems build the signature Humboldt-era GAM sound. Battle-tested components are programmed with these settings before leaving the shop floor. To ensure each build keeps its ideal tone, the settings matrix is in the “about” section for reference)

Supporting up to 4 separate monitor mixes, the Sentinel Series combines powerful output yield with flexible tone shaping controls/FX and will fit into the back of a truck or van.
